Anukool Lakhina is the Founder and CEO of BurnBot, which builds and operates autonomous machines to reduce wildfire fuels and protect communities, infrastructure, and habitats from destructive wildfire. Previously, he was Founder and CEO of Guavus, a big data analytics company acquired by Thales in 2017. Since then, Anukool has focused on the wildfire crisis: he and his wife run Wonder Labs, a social enterprise supporting communities on the front lines of wildfire, and he was a Partner at Convective Capital, a venture fund backing entrepreneurs working on wildfire resilience. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University.
